QUALITY CHECK (QC)

Job Description:

  • Pay close attention to all quality control checks on the devices.

  • Perform comprehensive inspections and functional tests on devices to ensure they meet quality standards.

  • Evaluate the overall performance of devices.

  • Receive parts from suppliers at Sim Lim Square and upload the data to the BoxHero inventory system.

  • Ensure accurate tallying of devices received from and delivered to Harvey Norman or Tai Seng against the accompanying documents.

  • Conduct diagnostic reports based on the problem descriptions of devices using the system.

  • Execute the burn-in process for all devices.

  • Respond to and support the backend support team group chat.

  • Update device assignment statuses to vendors via the RLMS system.

  • Perform other tasks assigned by the superior as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in quality control, technical support, or a similar role within the electronics or IT industry.

  • Proficiency in conducting inspections, functional tests, and diagnostic analysis on electronic devices.

  • Familiarity with quality control processes and standards.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to detect defects or issues in repaired devices.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Strong teamwork skills to support and collaborate with various stakeholders.
